I don’t normally get involved with the politics of who is with who in showbusiness…life is fickle enough as it is without worrying or, obsessing un necessarily over some celebrities life you have no control over.

However, the growing concern amongst most twi-hards and robsessed fangirls generally leads to a lot of hits on blolums concerning the lives of the actors who play the leading roles of Edward and Bella in the Twilight Saga.

You know, as it so happens, these two young up and coming actors seem to have captured a lot of people’s hearts with their dedication to their craft and their praise for each other, not to mention the amazing chemistry that just lights up the screen whenever they are on it, off screen they pretty much light it up as well. It’s not surprising we have forums, sites, blogs and livejournals all dedicated to these two, heavens we have all see with our own eyes just what kind of hot commodity they are.

BUT, please do remember one thing; they do not owe the fandom that follow them a damn thing. They do not have to explain to the world anything about their private lives, nor do they have to answer to anyone about what they do in their professional lives. It seems to me that dear TC and his awful truth blolum scared the fandom to hell and back yesterday with suggestions that they ‘that is Robert and Kristen’ are taking a break.

Takes a deep breath, understand one thing here, TPTB are professional through and through and as such expect their little cash cows to do the same, that means when they need to work, they work without any other distractions. We all know that this year Rob has ‘Remember Me’ coming out next month, ‘Bel Ami’ to shoot, then ‘Water for Elephants’ and now ‘Outbound Captives’ whenever it gets a green light. He also has Eclipse and Breaking Dawn to begin shooting before this year is out. Kristen has WTTR’s and The Runaways to promote as well as any other projects she agrees to sign up for and Eclipse alongside Breaking Dawn to do. You only have to look at that list to know that this year is going to be busy for both of them, so why is the ‘fandom’ up in arms i hear you cry?

Simple, a lot have invested their time in following these two young stars when really they should support them as individula as well. As much as we all love a bit of a romance, when it comes to promoting their own respective movies, the focus should be on their acting abilities and not on the ‘romance’ of the two. I know it is hard to separate fact from fiction, lord knows in this day and age escapisim is all we can cling onto when so much bad happens around us, but try and understand that these two are human as well and they have a job to do at the end of the day.

The support should be aimed at them as ‘people’ and not label them in any other way. If you respect Robert and are a fan of him, then respect Kristen also. Despite what you think about her, she is very important in his life as a friend, as well as a co worker and ill begotten hatred towards her wastes too much bad energy for the girl is doing nothing wrong but getting on with her life. Same goes for Kristen fans out there, support Kristen and be respectful of Rob, he is after all her closest friend and co worker and despte your thoughts on her happiness, you need to reign in bad feelings about him.

As i said, they are doing nothing other than working and work requires attention and that attention is all it is about right now. Attacking actors and pushing your negative thoughts forward does nothing but create ugliness and this world is full of ugly right now, don’t let your hearts be blackened also.
